Part time Canada Student Loans (PT/CSL)

How to Apply for PT/CSL

You now have two options:

1. Go to this website and print off the 6 page application form:
   (requires Adobe Reader)

   With your application, you will also need to submit a completed
   copy of the following form (requires Adobe Reader):

   • Ontario Special Bursary Program & Part-Time Canada Student Loan
2. Come into the Financial Aid Office and pick up a copy of the form, take it home and complete it. Then return it to the campus you will be attending.

Each method of applying for PT/CSL requires that you submit a photocopy of I.D. to the Financial Aid Office for your PT/CSL file. For this purpose, only identification provided by the Federal Government is valid.

Acceptable forms of identification include:

• Any Government photo I.D. (not Health Card)
• Social Insurance Card

The Ministry of Education may also request that your provide some additional supporting documentation, including but not limited to:

• Record of Landing
• Permanent Resident Card
• Marriage Certificate
• Separation Certificate
• Divorce Certificate
• Federal Govenment Child Tax Benefit
• An affidavit detailing the custody arrangement of your chid(ren)
• Proof of Residence History
