Please note: The transfer credit listed is based on program/ course information submitted by Seneca. Applications to Athabasca University are treated individually according to the relevant credential program regulations and are dependent on the year the college program and/or individual courses were completed, the course selection within the diploma, and other variables. Individual credit may vary.

Degree: Bachelor of Science – Computer and Information Systems (Post Diploma)

Graduates of these Seneca programs may receive up to 60 transfer credits toward the 120 required for this degree.

Seneca Program: Computer Engineering Technology - (Optional Co-op), Computer Networking and Technical Support, Computer Systems Technology - (Optional Co-op), Electronics Engineering Technician - Computers - (Optional Co-op)

Degree: Bachelor of Science – Computer and Information Systems (Post Diploma)

Graduates of these Seneca programs may receive 30-45 transfer credits towards this degree.

Seneca Program: Business - Insurance, Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - Financial Planning - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Retail Management, Court and Tribunal Administration, General Business, Law Clerk, Library and Information Technician, Police Foundations

Degree: Bachelor of Professional Arts – Governance, Law, and Management

Graduates of the above 2 year programs are  eligible to receive up to 60 credits, while graduates of 3 year diplomas are eligible to receive up to  72 transfer credits toward the 120 required for  this degree.

Seneca Program: Police Foundations

Degree: Bachelor of Professional Arts in Criminal Justice

Seneca graduates may be eligible to receive up to 60 credits toward the 120 required for this degree.

Seneca Program: Accounting and Finance - (Optional Co-op), Accounting, Business - Marketing, Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - Financial Planning - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Human Resources - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Marketing - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Retail Management, General Business, International Business Administration - (Optional Co-op)

Degree: Bachelor of Management or Bachelor of Commerce

Degree: Bachelor of Professional Arts in Communication Studies

Graduates of these Seneca programs may receive up to 30 credits of the required 120 credits for  this degree. Graduates must also possess another 1 year certificate or a 2 year diploma to be  eligible for admission. Applicants with a related  2 year diploma may receive up to 60 credits, and the post diploma certificate will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis. 

Seneca Program: Broadcasting - Radio, Broadcasting - Television, Business Administration - Human Resources - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Retail Management, Court and Tribunal Administration, Creative Advertising, Digital Media Arts, Fashion Business, Graphic Design, International Business Administration - (Optional Co-op), Law Clerk, Library and Information Technician, Office Administration - Executive, Office Administration - Legal , Office Administration - Medical, Visual Merchandising Arts

Degree: Bachelor of Professional Arts in Communication Studies

Graduates of the above 2 year diplomas may receive up to 60 credits while 3 year diploma graduates may receive up to 72 credits, toward  this 120 credit degree.

Seneca Program: Recreation and Leisure Services - (Co-op)

Degree: Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services

Seneca graduates may receive up to 60 credits toward the 120 required to complete this 4 year degree.

Seneca Program: Accounting and Finance - (Optional Co-op), Accounting, Business Administration - Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Business Administration - Financial Planning - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Human Resources - (Optional Co-op), Business Administration - Management, Business Administration - Retail Management, Computer Engineering Technology - (Optional Co-op), General Business, International Business Administration - (Optional Co-op)

Seneca graduates may receive up to 30 to 66 transfer credits toward the 90 credit, 3 year degree.
