Newnham Lab School

Experienced, professional caregivers provide a safe, stimulating  environment at the Newnham Child Care Centre. 

Open to students, staff and community members, the centre offers a well-informed, careful approach to care of children aged 18 months to 5 years and operates as a laboratory school for students of Seneca’s Early Childhood Education program (ECE).

Students of the ECE Program, which is renowned for its top quality training in theory and in practice, join the child care centre as part of their training.

Learning opportunities for children are enhanced via excellent student-teacher ratios. All programs from toddlers to senior kindergarten are designed to promote children’s individual intellectual, physical, emotional and social growth in a relaxed, nurturing environment.
