Personal Safety

Seneca College believes that all employees and students have the right to work and study in a safe environment, free from violence or the threat of violence. The College does not tolerate any form of violence, threat of violence, or any situation that places a member of the College community in a position that may jeopardize their personal safety on College property or during any College academic, employment, service, or business activity.

Security Programs

Seneca has escort and other security programs for students and employees at its major campuses.

• Campus Escorts – Campus Security will accompany students/employees who request and escort to their vehicles.
   
• Work Alone – Employees working late in remote areas of the College can provide their names and location to Campus Security.
   
• Emergency Help Phones: Dedicated phones are available at various locations at major campuses and in some parking lots, allowing direct communication with Campus Security.
