Chair's Message

When Seneca opened its doors in 1967, the College’s mission was focused on one thing – student success.

Forty years later this foundational goal is still at the heart of everything Seneca does.

Every year, the College makes a difference in the lives of thousands of students who have made the choice to study at Seneca.

As a leader in polytechnic education, we are committed to lifelong learning and offer students a broad range of credentialization options including apprenticeships, diplomas (two and three-year), bachelor’s degrees and Ontario College Graduate Certificates.

Students can choose from more than 500 career options and receive the academic knowledge, workplace experience and practical training needed to succeed.

Seneca’s joint programs and transfer agreements with universities and other colleges in Canada and around the world also provide pathway opportunities for students to continue their education.

As well, we provide opportunities for applied research to give our students important career-related experience while allowing the College to form stronger relationships with business and industry.

In other words, when you choose Seneca, you choose a world of possibilities.

To learn more about Seneca I encourage you to browse through this website, and take a moment to read our updated Strategic Plan.

This Plan sets the course for the College during the coming years and is a continuation of our mission to be a transformational leader in career-related education and training.
